The New Device Approval feature in Trend Micro Home Network Security helps you control which devices are allowed to connect to your WiFi network.

Functionality of New Device Approval

When New Device Approval is turned on, you must authorize any new device that wants to connect to your home network.

Instructions to Turn Off New Device Approval

  1. Open the Home Network Security app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the Menu icon and go to Settings.
  3. Under the NETWORK AND SECURITY section, choose Access Control, then select New Device Approval.
  4. Toggle the switch next to New Device Approval to the OFF position.
