You are receiving pop-up notification on your windows device that your subscription is soon to expire or already expired and needs to be renewed even you have an active subscription.

Why is this happening?

  • You might be using an outdated subscription on your Trend Micro on your windows device or your subscription renewal has not reflected yet. The confirmation usually takes 24 to 48 hours to reflect on your subscription and your program.
  • You may have purchased a new plan or upgrade instead of renewing your existing one.

What should I do next?

I renewed my subscription

If after renewal you still see the outdated expiration date, wait at least two (2) days for it to update in your program and Trend Micro account.

I purchased a new subscription

Ensure that the new subscription is activated on your device:

  • Open your Trend Micro app for Windows.
  • Click on the expiration date on the bottom right.
  • Check the expiration date and activation key used if it matches your latest subscription.
  • Press change serial number and use your latest activation key to update your subscription.

For Subscription Purchased through Best Buy
