Where to Find Your Trend Micro Activation Code

Learn where to find your Trend Micro activation code (also known as the serial number) whether you have recently purchased a Trend Micro product or need to reactivate it.

For New or Recent Purchase (Haven't Activated Yet)

If you have just purchased a Trend Micro product and haven't activated it yet, you can find your activation code in the following ways:

• Check Your Email: If you purchased online, look for an email from us with the subject line Order Confirmation Email. Don't forget to check your spam folder.
• Check the Product Packaging: If you bought the product from a retail store, the activation code can be found inside the product box or on the receipt.

For Old or Existing Subscription (Reactivating)

For those reactivating their Trend Micro product, follow these steps to find your activation code:

• Log In to Trend Micro Account: Go to the Trend Micro Account page, log in using your username and password. Your activation code is listed under the License tab.

What the Activation Code Looks Like

The Activation Code consists of four capital letters followed by sixteen numbers, arranged in groups of four, like this: XXXX-0000-0000-0000-0000.

Each Trend Micro product has a specific starting letter in its Activation Code, making it easy to identify:

• Maximum Security, Premium Security, Premium Security Suite, Device Security Basic, Device Security Pro, Device Security Advanced and Device Security Ultimate: All starts with (e.g., XXXX-0000-0000-0000-0000)
• Antivirus+ Security: Starts with A (e.g., AXXX-0000-0000-0000-0000)
• Internet Security: Starts with P (e.g., PXXX-0000-0000-0000-0000)
• Internet Security from Best Buy: Starts with TOEF (e.g., TOEF-0000-0000-0000-0000)
• Antivirus for Mac: Starts with M (e.g., MXXX-0000-0000-0000-0000)
