Learn how to find your Trend Micro activation code (also called the serial number) if you've recently purchased a product or need to reactivate it.
If You Just Renewed Your Subscription
If you've recently renewed your subscription, whether manually or through auto-renewal, please follow these steps to find your activation code:
- Go to your Trend Micro Account here: https://account.trendmicro.com/.
- Log in with your credentials.
- Your activation code will be listed under the License tab.
If you can't log in to your account, you can find the activation code in your Trend Micro program:- On Computers:
- Open your Trend Micro program on your device.
- Click on the expiration date in the bottom right corner.
- The Subscription Information window will open, showing your activation code.
- On Mobile Phones:
- Open Trend Micro Mobile Security on your device.
- Go to Settings.
- On Android, tap the three dots in the top right, then select Settings.
- On iOS, scroll down and select Settings.
- Your activation code will be under Account & Subscription in the Settings.
- On Computers:
Note: Activation codes for Cleaner One Pro that start with the letter Q do not require a Trend Micro account. You can find activation information in the Activation Info section.
If You Just Purchased a New Subscription
If you have recently purchased a Trend Micro product and haven't activated it yet, here's how to find your activation code:
- Check Your Email: If you bought online, look for an email with the subject line Activate Your Subscription. This email is separate from your order confirmation. Don't forget to check your spam or junk folder.
- Check the Product Packaging: If you bought the product in a store, the activation code can be found inside the product box or on the receipt.
- In-App Purchases: If you bought the product from the Microsoft Store, Mac App Store, Google Play Store, or App Store, just sign in with the email address you used to purchase it—no activation code needed.
- Best Buy Purchases: If you bought your subscription from Best Buy, check the email from them for your activation code. If you can't find it, contact Geek Squad for assistance.
- Subscription from ISP: If you subscribed through your Internet Service Provider (ISP), sign in to your ISP account to find your activation code. If you can’t find it, reach out to your ISP for help.
