Changing the default browser on your device ensures that all web links you click or tap open in your preferred browser. Here's how you can change it depending on which device you are using:
For Windows
To change the default web browser on your Windows device:
Click on the Windows ⊞ icon, then choose Settings.
In the Settings window, click on Apps.
From the left-side menu, select Default apps.
Scroll down to the Web browser section.
Click on the current default browser (which might be Microsoft Edge). A list of installed browsers will appear.
Select your preferred web browser (like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.).
Click on Set default to confirm your choice.
For Mac
To change the default web browser on your Mac:
Click the Apple icon logo in the top-left corner of your screen, then select System Settings.
In the System Settings window, click on Desktop & Dock from the sidebar.
