Install Error 1603, 3002, 0xe01a000c on Trend Micro Security

Why Did This Happen?

This might be due to the following reasons:

• The following dependency services are not running:
  • Base Filtering Engine (service name: BFE)
  • Cryptographic Services (service name: CryptSvc)
• Trend Micro program drivers were not uninstalled properly.

What Should I Do Next?

Follow these simple steps:

1. Log onto your computer using an account with administrator privileges.
2. Download and install the Trend Micro Permission Tool to fix Windows registry and folder permission problems.
   1. Log onto your computer using an account with administrator privileges.
   2. Download the Permission Tool here.
   3. Double-click Ti_all_win_en_RegKeyFolderPermissionRecover_Tool0001.exe to run it.
   4. Click I accept the terms of the license agreement, then click Next.
   5. Click Install.
   6. Click OK.
   7. Restart your computer.

If the issue persists, uninstall corrupted Trend Micro remnants using the Uninstall Tool:

1. Download the Uninstall Tool HERE.
2. Double-click Ti_1790_win_en_Tool_UninstallTool_hfb0002.exe to run it.
