How does a Firewall Booster work with Windows Firewall?

Firewall Booster works with Windows Firewall, but runs independently. However, enabling Firewall Booster does not turn ON the Windows Firewall. It does not register itself to Windows Security Center and you can only see its status in the Trend Micro settings.
