When you open your Trend Micro program, you might see this message:
Not Yet Activated
Why This Happens
This usually appears when your program hasn’t completed activation.
- The program hasn’t been registered to your Trend Micro account.
- Your computer isn’t connected to the Internet.
- Security or network settings are blocking access to the Trend Micro activation server.
- You renewed your subscription, but your product hasn’t refreshed the new activation status.
Try These Steps First
Follow these simple steps to activate your Trend Micro protection:
- Check your Internet connection.
Make sure you can open a website before activating. - Click the Activate Now in your Trend Micro program..
- Enter your computer name, and then click Next.
- Sign in with your Trend Micro account email address and follow the prompts.
- If you’re activating for the first time, enter your account information, then click Next.
- Double-check the information you provided, then click Next.
- Review your details, then click Finish.
Still Seeing the Error?
If activation still fails, try the following:
- Verify your subscription is active:
- Go to Trend Micro Account.
- Sign in and confirm your subscription has a number of days left to activate and use the program.
- Restart your computer, then try activating again.
- Update your Trend Micro program to the latest version.
