Activate Trend Micro Security on Windows: Step-by-Step Guide

Here's a simple guide to get your Trend Micro security up and running on your Windows device.

First Time Activating your Subscription?

If you recently bought a new subscription and have a new activation code, follow these steps to activate it:

1. Visit the Activation Portal.
2. Click the Get Started button.
3. Create a Trend Micro Account using your email address or phone number.
4. Provide a secure password, then click Next.
5. Enter your first and last name to complete your profile, then click Next.
6. Enter your activation code, agree to the Trend Micro License Agreement, and click Next.
7. Once activated, it will redirect you to your own Trend Micro Account downloads page to install the apps and programs you purchased.

Already Installed Trend Micro?

If you've already installed Trend Micro, just follow these easy steps to activate your subscription:

1. Open your Trend Micro program and click the expiry date at the bottom.
2. A window labeled "Subscription Information" will appear. Here, you can:
   • Click Change your Activation Code if you want to use a new activation code.
   • Click Renew Now to extend your subscription if it's about to expire.
