Your Trend Micro activation code (also known as serial number , product key , or activation key ) is required to activate your subscription.
This guide will help you quickly locate your code based on how and where you purchased your product, and what to do if you can’t find it.

📦 Retail Store Purchase
Look inside the product packaging for a card or label containing the activation code.
Some retailers print the code on the purchase receipt .
Sample format: XXXX-0000-0000-0000-0000
💻 Online Purchase (Trend Micro Website)
Your activation code is sent via a confirmation email (usually within 15 minutes).
Check Inbox , Spam/Junk folder, Promotions tab (for Gmail users).
Email Content:
📱 In-App Purchase (App Store/Google Play)
No activation code is required.
Simply sign in to the app using the same email account you used to make the purchase.
Your subscription will automatically sync.

Make sure you're logged in with the correct account.
Try signing out and signing back in.
🌐 Internet Service Provider (ISP)
Log in to your ISP’s account portal to locate your activation code.
Some ISPs provide it in a welcome email.
Sample format: TAEF-0000-0000-0000-0000
Can't Find It?
Contact your ISP’s customer support for assistance.
🛍 Purchased from Best Buy
Check the confirmation email from Best Buy .
If purchased in-store , check your receipt or packaging .
Sample format: TOEF-0000-0000-0000-0000

🔄 Renewed Subscription
You will continue using your existing activation code after renewal.
If your protection still shows as expired:
Sign out of the program.
Sign back in with your registered account.
Allow up to 48 hours for renewal processing.
If the issue continues, contact Trend Micro Support .
❗ If Your Activation Code Is Not Working
Make sure you entered the correct code exactly as shown (include hyphens).
Confirm you are using the correct code for your product version.
Check that your subscription has not expired.
