Your activation code (also called a product key or serial number) is used to activate your Trend Micro subscription. Select your purchase type from the table below to find exactly where your code is and what to do if it’s missing.

- Look inside the packaging.
- Some retailers print the code on the receipt.
- Keep your receipt and packaging safe.
- Online Purchase from Trend Micro Website
- Code is emailed within 15 minutes.
- Check Inbox, Spam/Junk, Gmail Promotions tab.

Sample Email:
- If not received after 1 hour, Contact Support to Resend Activation Code.
- In-App Purchase
- No activation code required.
- Sign in using the same account you purchased with.
- Purchase via Internet Provider
- Log in to your ISP account.
- If missing, contact ISP customer service.
- Purchase via Best Buy
- Check the email from Best Buy for your code.
- If missing, contact Geek Squad.
- Renewed Subscription
- Same activation code is used after renewal.
- If still expired: Sign out/in of the Trend Micro app.
- Check license is active online.
- Go to your Trend Micro Account here: https://account.trendmicro.com/.
- Log in with your credentials.
- Your activation code will be listed as Serial Number under the License tab.
- Contact Support if still expired after 48 hours.
