This guide helps you activate your Trend Micro subscription based on your situation.

What You Need Before Activating
- 20-character Trend Micro activation code
- Trend Micro account
- Stable internet connection
Activate Using the Web Portal
- Go to Activation Portal and click Get Started.
- Sign in or create a Trend Micro Account.
- Enter your activation code and select Next.
- Retail users: complete Auto-Renew setup (NO CHARGE TODAY).
- After activation, go to My Account > Downloads.
Retail Purchase Note
Retail activations require adding a credit card to enable Auto-Renew. You will not be charged today and can cancel anytime. If you do not have a credit card, contact Trend Micro Support.
Troubleshooting
- Activation code not working: Check for typing errors.
- Unable to Contact Trend Micro: Verify date/time and network connection.
- Subscription expired: Refresh subscription from My Account.
- Asked to buy again: Confirm you are signed in with the correct account.
