This guide will help you transfer your protected passwords from your Password Manager app with ease to Trend Micro ID Protection.
STEP 1. Export Your Passwords from Your Current Password Manager
Begin by exporting your existing passwords from your current password manager. For detailed instructions, follow the links below:
STEP 2: Import Your Passwords to ID Protection
Via Trend Micro ID Protection website
- Open your browser and visit the Trend Micro ID Protection website.
- Click on the key logo on the left to access the Vault.
- Sign in with your Trend Micro Account.
- Enter again your Trend Micro Account password. It will ask you set up your vault.
- Open your Trend Micro ID Protection app, then enter the four-digit code displayed on the screen to your app, then tap Confirm.
- Click the Import Password icon you see on the upper right
- Select Import from a CSV File, then click the Select CSV file button.
- Choose your newly exported password CSV file, then click Open.
Via Mobile App
- Open your ID Protection Mobile App.
- Tap the key logo at the bottom to go to the Vault.
- Tap Import passwords, then select Import from a CSV File.
- Tap, Select CSV file then choose your newly exported CSV file.
STEP 3: Wait to Continue to Protect Your Passwords
After the import process is complete, you'll be able to view, edit, and use your newly imported passwords within ID Protection.
