What Is Personal Data Scan?

Personal Data Scan identifies files stored on your computer that may contain personal information such as credit card and Social Security Number (SSN), posing a potential risk of identity theft.

How To Enable Personal Data Scan

Select the "Personal Data" option before initiating the Smart Scan.

  1. Open Cleaner One Pro App on your Mac.
  2. In the Smart Scan feature, click on the Scan button.
  3. Navigate to Diagnostics and select Personal Data.
  4. Click Start Scan Now.

If you cannot find the Personal Data option, choose Settings in Smart Scan to customize the list selection.

Note: The information scanned remains on the user's computer and is never sent to our servers.

What To Do Next

To view the files potentially containing personal data:

  1. Look for the Files that may contain personal data option.
  2. Click view details.
  3. See options to Check for Data Leaks and Get ID Protection to safeguard your identity from evolving threats.
