Restore quarantined or removed files:

Before you continue: Restoring a detected file poses a potential security risk. Do not restore a detected file unless you are sure that the file is clean and the detection was a false positive.

  1. Open Trend Micro, then click the Security Report icon Security Report.

  2. Click Security Threats.

  3. Click the file you wish to restore.
  4. Click Restore.

  5. Read the warning message, then click Yes.

  6. Click OK.
  7. Submit the detected files to Trend Micro for analysis.
