Most home network attacks are intranet attacks wherein a device is attacking another within the same network. Trend Micro Home Network Security includes Internal Attack Blocking. It prevents these devices from attacking one another.
How Internal Attack Blocking works
Internal Attack Blocking inspects the packets, provides the protection and monitors all the traffic among devices connected to the network by letting it pass through the Home Network Security Station.
How to turn ON Internal Attack Blocking in Trend Micro Home Network Security
- On your mobile device, open the Home Network Security app.
- Tap the Menu icon you see on the upper left, then tap Settings.
- Under NETWORK AND SECURITY, tap Threat Blocking.
- Tap the switch beside Internal Attack Blocking to turn it ON .
To turn OFF Internal Attack Blocking, just tap the switch again.
