Router Access Protection automatically blocks access when a guest tries to access your router admin console.

Access Blocked | Router Access Protection

  • The guest can request access by clicking the "Request Access" link. The home network owner will be notified.
  • The home network owner will decide to allow access or not.
  • The block or allow notification will be shown in the Home Network Security Timeline.

Enable Router Access Protection

  1. On your device, open the Home Network Security app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Early Access Program.
  5. Toggle the switch to ON to enable Router Access Protection.

    Router Access Protection feature is disabled when Home Network Security is on DHCP mode.

Allow a blocked device to access Router admin console

  1. On your device, open the Home Network Security app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon, then tap Timeline.
  3. Under Timeline, tap Router Access.
  4. Tap the Router Access Blocked notification.
  5. You can allow a device to configure the router settings from 1 hour up to 3 hours maximum.
