Why Did This Happen?
If you're using Trend Micro, it's because the "Protect all connected USB drives" option is checked in the Folder Shield settings. Trend Micro automatically safeguards these drives and notifies you when they are removed or not properly plugged in.
How Do I Stop Seeing This Message?
If you'd like to get rid of this pop-up, follow these steps:
- Open Folder Shield settings.
- Uncheck the "Protect all connected USB drives" option.
Important Note: Unchecking this feature will prevent Folder Shield to check connected USB drives for Ransomware.
