You see this message on the Microsoft Edge extension:
Why did this happen?
You signed in with your existing Trend Micro Account but it does not work with the Trend Micro Security extension you bought through Best Buy.
How do I fix this?
Activate your license manually:
- Go to the Activation Portal.
- Type your activation code, then click Next.
- Create a separate Trend Micro Account.
- Fill out the required information, then click Next.
- Open Trend Micro Security for Microsoft Edge.
- Click Sign in, then enter your new Trend Micro Account.
If the activation code was not provided upon purchase, contact Best Buy Geek Squad to get your license details.
