How to get optimal network mode in Home Network Security

Trend Micro Home Network Security has four modes to support different router brands and models. To avoid compatibility issues, your app will help you find the optimal mode for your home router.

Change Device Network Mode Settings to its Optimal Mode

1. Open the Home Network Security app on your device.
2. Tap the Menu icon you see on the upper left, then tap Settings.

   

   

3. Tap Station Configuration under STATION.

   

4. Tap Find the optimal mode.

   

5. Tap Next, then Start. Wait for 3 to 5 minutes while it is searching for your device's optimal mode.

   

6. Click the Settings button, then select the suggested mode to use.
