Auto Renew is a service from Trend Micro that automatically extends your subscription for another year before it expires.

NOTE: If your subscription is set to renew automatically, you will be charged on the same day as your subscription's expiration date.

If your subscription hasn’t renewed automatically, know what to do to prevent it from expiring.

Why did this happen?

  • You may have registered an expired or invalid payment method (such as a credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.).
  • Even if you've updated your card's expiration date with your bank, it won't automatically update in your Trend Micro account.
  • You may have insufficient funds.
  • Your card issuer might have blocked the transaction due to suspected fraud.

What to do next?

  1. Ensure you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the transaction.
  2. Double-check your credit card like the card number, expiration date, and CVV code for accuracy. If your card needs to be updated, follow the steps here: How to Update Credit Card and Billing Info for Trend Micro Subscriptions
  3. Contact your bank to verify and resolve any issues.
  4. Manually renew your subscription to keep your protection. The card you use will become your new payment method for auto-renewal.

If none of the steps above resolve the issue, please contact Trend Micro Support for further assistance.
