Why am I getting an early renewal email?
Interrupted protection can put your information and devices at risk. To help you avoid this, Trend Micro sends an early email reminder to renew your subscription on time. The email shows your subscription name, renewal price, and a link to renew.
How does early renewal work?
Early renewal adds either 1 or 2 years to your subscription, depending on what you choose. It starts right after your payment is processed, or within 24 to 48 hours based on your bank. You wonβt lose any remaining days or months on your current subscription; it will simply add to the time you already have.
Note: Renewing your current subscription is not the same as buying a new one. When you renew, your existing subscription is extended, keeping your current settings and protection. If you buy a new subscription, you may have to set up your account again and might lose any remaining days on your current plan.

To update your credit card information or do a manual renewal, follow these steps:
- Visit the My Trend Micro Account portal at https://account.trendmicro.com and sign in.
- Under the Licenses tab, find the subscription you want to manage.
- If you see a Cancel Subscription button, click it, and then confirm by clicking Stop Now.
- Note: Click Manage Subscription to cancel Auto-Renewal if you're in Australia or New Zealand.
