Browser toolbars, add ons and extensions help extend other programs, such as Trend Micro Security, its functionality, like protecting yourself from threats and improve online privacy when using a web browser.

However, some toolbars can also get installed unknowingly alongside other programs you added on your computer. These unwanted and unneccessary toolbars may affect your browser performance, much worse, hijack your home page and search engines.

Here's how to remove them:

  1. Uninstall unneccessary apps.

    Remove the toolbar manually through the Control Panel:

    1. Click the Start , then go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features. You can also access it via the shortcut button below:

    2. Look for the programs that you are not using anymore, then click Uninstall.
  2. Remove toolbars on your web browser manually:
