Fix "Unable to continue" error on iPhone or iPad

You see any of the following errors while activating Mobile Security on your iOS/iPadOS device:

• Unable to continue
• Unable to continue - Error code #98000006
• Unable to continue - Error code #95000607

Why did this happen?

There are some issues encountered with your Trend Micro Account.

How do I fix this?

Reactivate the app:

1. Go to https://account.trendmicro.com/.
2. Type your email address and password, then click Sign In.
   If you set up Two-Factor Authentication, you will need to type in the verification code sent to your preferred method (Authenticator App, Email or Text).
3. Click the Licenses tab, then look for your ongoing subscription.
4. Click Manage Device +, then hover to the device you want to remove protection.
5. Click the X icon on the upper right corner of the device which encountered the error message.
6. Click Yes to confirm.
7. Open the Mobile Security app.
8. Tap Settings.
9. Tap Set Up Account.
10. Sign in to your Trend Micro account to activate your app.

If the problem persists even after reactivating the app, try reinstalling it.

Remove Mobile Security app on iPhone or iPad:

1. Tap and hold the Mobile Security app you see on your Home screen.
2. Select Remove App.
3. Choose Delete App to uninstall the app.

Get Trend Micro from the App Store:

1. Open the App Store.
2. Search for "Trend Micro Mobile Security."
3. Tap Get, and then tap Install.

   

Once the installation is complete, follow these steps:

Activate Trend Micro from the App:

1. Launch the Trend Micro Mobile Security app.
2. Tap Allow to enable notifications, and then tap Accept and Continue.

   

3. Activate your subscription.

   Use Your Existing Trend Micro Subscription:

   1. Tap Already Purchased?
   2. Tap Sign into your Trend Micro Account.

   Activate Through the Settings Page:

   1. From the features list, tap Settings.
   2. Tap Setup Account, then Sign into your Trend Micro Account.
