  2. Sign in or create a new Trend Micro Account.
  3. Enter your Activation Code and click Next.
  4. Click Download to get the installer.
  5. Run the downloaded installer by double-clicking it.
  6. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

NOTE: Your subscription will start as soon as you activate it on your Trend Micro account, ensuring you're all set up and ready to go!

How to Check if Trend Micro Security Is Installed

Method 1 — Check Installed Programs

  1. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
  2. Type appwiz.cpl, then press Enter.
  3. Look for Trend Micro in the list.

Method 2 — Check the App Status

  1. Open Trend Micro Security on your PC.
  2. If it shows Protected, you're all set!
