Listed are Trend Micro Security for Google Chrome known issues and product limitations. This article will be updated as new information becomes available.
Reported Issues
- Extension will not work when the computer resumes from a connected Standby Mode. To fix this, relaunch the browser.
- When browsing Incognito, it cannot block malicious websites and sites included in the Blocked List . To fix this, use the Normal Browser Mode.
- Extension will not activate using a Security Suite or a Device Security license key if it not yet activated in other programs. To fix this, register the license key to other Trend Micro programs first, such as Mobile Security or Maximum Security.
- There is a duplicate Data Collection Notice page when you set up Email Defender when Security for Chrome and Trend Micro Toolbar is installed at the same time.
