Two-Factor Authentication adds another layer of security to access your Password Manager. When enabled, it will require to enter a confirmation code, making it more difficult for hackers to access your accounts.
- Open your Password Manager app.
- Type your Vault Password, then tap Unlock.
- Tap the Settings tab.
- Tap Manage Two-factor Authentication under ACCOUNT & SUBSCRIPTION.
- Sign in with your Trend Micro Account.
- Select between the three authentication methods:

Text
- Tap the Set Up under Text Message (SMS).
- Enter your mobile number, then tap Next.
You will receive a confirmation code through your phone messages.
- Type the confirmation code you received through text, then tap Next.
- Tap Done once setup is successful.
Authentication App
- Tap Setup under Authentication App.
- Tap Yes if you already installed an Authenticator App on your mobile device.
Otherwise, tap Not Yet. A Download an Authentication App window will appear to guide you to download your preferred authenticator app via Playstore or AppStore.
- Using your preferred Authenticator App, scan the QR code on the setup window, then tap Next.
If the QR code did not work, tap Type a code instead, and then enter the code from the Authenticator app. Tap Next.
- An Authentication App Saved message will appear. Tap Done to finish.
Email
- Tap Setup under Email Address.
- Enter your email address, then tap Next
You will receive a confirmation code in your email.
- Type the confirmation code you see in your email, then tap Next.
- Tap Done once setup is successful.
- Check the confirmation email you will receive after every successful set up.
You can add more than one Authentication Method. Tap the Set up button under your preferred authentication method. Otherwise, tap Skip.
