If you bought a new Trend Micro product after March 30, 2025, you might notice that there is no activation code in the confirmation email from Trend Micro.
Why Is My Activation Code Missing?
The activation code is not included in the first email because Trend Micro sends two separate emails for your new purchase.
What Are the Two Emails You Receive?
- Order Confirmation Email
Subject: Order Confirmation for Your Trend Micro Invoice
Sender:
no-reply@store.trendmicro.com
Details Included:
- Purchase date
- Total amount paid
- Billing information
-
Installation and Activation Email
Subject: Activate Your Subscription
Sender:
noreply@email.trendmicro.com
Key Information:
- Look for your Activation Code to register your Trend Micro product.
- If you don’t see the Activate Your Subscription email, check your spam or junk folder. Sometimes, emails get filtered there.
Will I Get a New Activation Code if My Subscription Renews?
When your subscription is renewed, either automatically or manually, you won't receive a new activation code. The expiry date will just be extended based on the renewal period you selected.
Why Does My Trend Micro Subscription Still Show Expired After Renewing?
Usually, it takes about 24 to 48 hours for your renewal confirmation to show up in your subscription status. If it has been more than two days and your expiry date is still the same, contact Trend Micro Support to check your subscription.
- If you manually renewed your subscription, it’s possible that you bought a new subscription instead of renewing the existing one. If this is the case, please follow the instructions in this link to activate your new subscription: Activate Trend Micro with a New Activation Code or Existing Subscription.
- If your subscription was supposed to renew automatically, check your banking app to see if the payment went through. Remember to allow 24 to 48 hours for your expiry date to update after the payment is processed.
