Now that Trend Micro Password Manager is nearing its End of Support (EOS) and will transition to Trend Micro ID Protection, ensuring continued reliable password management. Below are step-by-step guides for importing your passwords and secure notes to ID Protection.
On Windows and Mac PCs:
- Visit the Trend Micro ID Protection Portal, then sign in to your account.
- On the left side of your screen, click Vault.
- Enter your Trend Micro Account Password or Client Key, if needed.
- Click the Import Password icon.
- Choose Import from Trend Micro Password Manager,
then enter your Password Manager Vault password. - Click Continue and wait for the import process to finish.
On Android and iPhone/iPad Mobile Devices:
- Open your Trend Micro ID Protection app, then go to Vault.
- Enter your Trend Micro Account Password or Client Key, if needed.
- Tap the suitcase icon,
then tap Import Passwords. - Tap Import from Trend Micro Password Manager, then enter your Vault Password.
- Wait for the import process to finish, then tap OK once done.
You can now view and use your newly imported passwords in ID Protection.
