Unable to block a Website with Parental Controls

After blocking a website with your Trend Micro Parental Controls but still can access it?

Clearing your device's cache and cookies can be a game-changer for both your system's speed and your privacy.

How do I fix this?

1. Clear your device's caches and cookies.
   On Windows

   On Google Chrome

   1. Open 'Google Chrome'.
   2. Click the 'three dots ⋮' for the menu, select 'More Tools', then 'Clear browsing data'.
   3. Choose a time range, or select 'All time' to delete everything.
   4. Check 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'. Click 'Clear data' to finish.

   On Mozilla Firefox

   1. Open 'Mozilla Firefox'.
   2. Access the 'menu ☰', click on 'Settings'.
   3. Select 'Privacy & Security', find 'Cookies and Site Data', then hit 'Clear Data'.
   4. Ensure 'Cookies and Site Data' and 'Cached Web Content' are selected, then click 'Clear'.

   On Microsoft Edge

   1. Launch Microsoft Edge.
   2. Select the 'menu button …', then 'Settings'.
   3. Under 'Privacy, search, and services', find 'Clear browsing data' and click 'Choose what to clear'.
   4. Mark the checkboxes for 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files', then select 'Clear now'.

   On Android Phone/Tablet

   On Google Chrome

   1. Open the Chrome app on your Android device.
   2. Tap More at the top right.
   3. Tap History, then Clear Browsing Data.
   4. Choose a time range. To remove everything, select All time.
   5. Ensure Cookies and site data and Cached Images and Files are checked.
   6. Tap Clear data to confirm.

   On Mozilla Firefox

   1. Open the Firefox app on your Android device.
   2. Tap the menu, then select Settings.
   3. Tap Delete browsing data. Ensure Cached images and files is checked.
   4. Tap Delete browsing data to confirm.

   On iPhone/iPad

   On Safari

   1. Open the 'Settings' app, then select 'Safari'.
   2. Scroll down, then select 'Clear History and Website Data'.
   3. Tap 'Clear History' to confirm.

   On Google Chrome

   1. Open the 'Chrome' app on your iPhone or iPad.
   2. Tap at the bottom, then select 'Settings'.
   3. Tap 'History', then tap 'Delete Browsing Data...' at the bottom.
   4. Tap 'Cookies, Site Data' and 'Cached Images and Files'. Make sure you see a check beside them.
   5. Tap 'Delete Browsing Data' at the bottom, then choose 'Delete Browsing Data' to confirm.

   On Mozilla Firefox

   1. Open the 'Firefox' app on your iPhone or iPad.
   2. Tap at the bottom,, then select 'Settings'.
   3. Under 'Privacy', select 'Data Management'.
   4. Turn on Cache .
   5. Tap 'Clear Private Data' to confirm.

2. Try to visit the website again, and check if it's already blocked.
