Parental Controls protects your kids from the dangers of the Internet through the comfort of their iOS/iPadOS devices.
How does it work?
It uses the Web Guard feauture to block inappropriate websites, depending on their age.
Turn ON Web Guard
- Tap the Mobile Security app.
- Tap Web Guard, then tap the Turn ON Web Guard button.
- Tap Web Guard needs permission before you can use this feature, then select Allow.
- Provide your Touch ID or Face ID to switch it ON.
Block explicit content
Limit websites your kids can visit and prevent specific categories of websites from opening.
- Tap the Mobile Security app.
- Tap Web Guard, then tap VPN Settings.
- Tap Trend Micro Parental Controls.
- Select your kid's age:
- Teen
- Pre-Teen
- Child
- Custom
Trend Micro has predefined restrictions for each age group:
- ☑ - Blocked
- ⿱ - Some contents are blocked but not all
- ☐ - Allowed
- Set up a 4-digit key, or what we call a Parent Key.
This key is needed if they try to visit explicit websites.
Check what websites Parental Controls blocked
- Tap the Mobile Security app.
- Tap Web Guard, tap Blocked Websites.
You will see a list of websites your child tried to visit that Web Guard successfully blocked.
