How to Ensure Online Security on iPhone or iPad with Safesurfing

SafeSurfing is a secure browser built into your Mobile Security app. It helps protect you from unsafe websites by blocking them based on the level of protection you choose.

How to Use SafeSurfing

Check if a Website is Unsafe

1. Copy the Link: Copy the link you want to check.
2. Open the Mobile Security App: Tap the app icon.
3. Select SafeSurfing: Tap on the SafeSurfing option.
4. Paste the Link: Paste the copied link into the address bar and tap Go.
   • If the website is unsafe, SafeSurfing will block access.
   • If it’s safe, you can browse normally.

Adjust Protection Level

1. Open the Mobile Security App.
2. Go to Settings: Scroll down and tap Settings.
3. Select Filtering Level: Under WEB THREAT PROTECTION, tap Filtering Level.
4. Choose Your Level:
   • High: Blocks sites with any fraud or malware.
   • Normal: Recommended for everyday use; balances safety and usability.
   • Low: Only blocks confirmed dangerous sites.

Open a New Website Without Closing the Previous One

1. Open the Mobile Security App.
2. Select SafeSurfing.
3. Use the Page Switcher: Tap the Page Switcher icon (looks like two overlapping squares) in the top right corner.
4. Add a New Page: Tap the plus sign (+) and enter the new website address, then tap Go.

Close Websites

1. In SafeSurfing, tap the Page Switcher icon.
2. Close a Page: Tap the X at the top right corner of the page you want to close.

Clear Browsing History

1. Open the Mobile Security App.
2. Select SafeSurfing and then tap Clear.
3. Choose Clear History: Confirm by tapping Yes.
4. You can also clear cache and cookies or delete all saved data.

Bookmark a Favorite Website

1. Open the Mobile Security App.
2. Select SafeSurfing.
3. Go to the Website: Type or paste the website address and tap Go.
4. Bookmark It: Tap the Share icon, then select Add Bookmark and tap Save.

Delete a Saved Bookmark

1. Open the Mobile Security App.
2. Select SafeSurfing.
3. Go to Bookmarks: Tap the icon to view your bookmarks.
4. Edit Bookmarks: Tap Edit, then tap the icon next to the website you want to delete.
5. Confirm Deletion: Tap Delete.
