Your Trend Micro Security program scan hangs or stops at a certain percentage.
Nothing happens when you click Stop and sometimes, you cannot close the scan window.
Why did this happen?
- The component handling the scanning process failed or has stopped working.
- Stored files of the program became corrupted.
How do I fix this?
Restart Trend Micro Components
- Temporarily disable the Trend Micro program, then turn it back ON.
- Run a scan again.
Delete Temporary Files
- Click here to follow the guide to delete temporary files in your computer.
- Once done, open Trend Micro and try to run a scan< again.
