Why Did This Happen?

You may have installed or activated the program too many times using your license seat. But fear not, we have a solution for you.

How Do You Fix This?

Follow these simple steps:

  1. On the Password field, type your Trend Micro account password, then click Next.
  2. Select the name of the computer or device where the program was previously activated.
  3. Provide a new computer name. For example: "New Mac Book Pro" or "Home Computer".
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Finish.

If you have multiple devices, you can click Make another purchase to buy additional protection on the Transfer Protection window, or access your Trend Micro Account to manage your subscription.
