How to install Trend Micro Home Network Security bundled apps

Install Trend Micro Maximum Security for Windows

To run Trend Micro Maximum Security successfully on your Windows computer, it must meet the minimum system requirements.

1. Click the button below to download the Trend Micro installer file:

   Download Trend Micro Maximum Security

2. Double-click the downloaded file to run the installer.

   If the User Account Control window appears, click Yes.

3. Type your serial number or activation key, then click Next.

   

4. Read the Data Disclosure Notice, then click Next.

   

5. Read the License Agreement, then click Agree and Install.

   

6. Wait for the program to install. This may take a couple of minutes.

   

7. Provide a computer name, then click Next.

   

8. Type your email address, then click Next.

   

   1. If this is your first time activating a Trend Micro program, enter your Account Information, then click Next.

      

   2. Check the information that you provided, then click Next.

      

   3. Click Finish to proceed activation.

      

   After successful activation, you will now see the main program menu.

   It is configured for optimum protection so you do not need to do anything.

   

Install Trend Micro Maximum Security for Mac

To run Trend Micro Antivirus successfully on your Mac, your device must meet the minimum system requirements.

1. Download the installer compatible with the macOS version you have:

   Note: If you do not see your macOS version on the table above, it means you can no longer install Trend Micro Antivirus on macOS High Sierra (10.13) and below. We recommend upgrading your Mac to its latest version so you can experience the full features of Antivirus for Mac.

2. Open the downloaded .dmg file, and then click Install Trend Micro Antivirus.

   

3. A pop up will appear. Click Open, then Allow to proceed with installation.

   

   

4. Read the Introduction, then click Continue.

   

5. Read the Privacy and Personal Data Collection Disclosure, then click Continue.

   

6. Read the Software License Agreement, click Continue, then click Agree

   

   

7. Enter your serial number, like this sample format: XXXX-0000-0000-0000-0000, then click Continue.

   

8. Click Install, provide your mac password, then click Install Software.

   

   

   Wait for the software to install. This may take a couple of minutes.

9. After installation completes, click Close, then follow the on-screen instructions for the Helper Tool.

   

Install Trend Micro Maximum Security on Android devices

1. On your device, open the Play Store app.

   

2. In the Search field, type Trend Micro Mobile Security, then tap 🔍.

   

3. Tap Install.

   

4. Wait for the installation to finish, then tap Open.
5. Read the Privacy and Personal Data Collection Disclosure, tap ‘I agree to share user usage data to help improve this app’, then tap Accept and Continue.
6. At the lower-right corner, tap Buy / Activate.

   

7. You can purchase a subscription or use your existing license:
   • Use an Activation Code (locate my code/key)
   • Sign In to Use Existing License (log in with your Trend Micro Account)

   

Install Trend Micro Maximum Security on iOS/iPad devices

1. Open the App Store.
2. Search for Trend Micro Mobile Security.
3. Tap Get, then tap Install.
   
4. Launch the app. Tap Allow to enable the notifications, then tap Accept and Continue.
   
5. Activate your subscription.
   Expand All

   Use your existing Trend Micro subscription

   1. Tap Already Purchased?.

      

   2. Tap Sign into your Trend Micro Account.
   3. Sign in with your Trend Micro account.

   Use your new activation key

   1. Go to the Activation Portal to activate your new activation key.
   2. When asked, create an account or sign in with your existing Trend Micro account.
   3. Go back to your Mobile Security app, then tap Already Purchased?.

      

   4. Tap Sign into your Trend Micro Account.
   5. Sign in with your Trend Micro account.

   Activate through the Settings page

   1. From the features list, tap Settings.
   2. Tap Setup Account, then Sign into your Trend Micro Account.
