What is Auto Renew?

Auto Renewal is a convenient service that automatically extends your subscription for another year before it expires. Trend Micro subscriptions are set to Auto Renew when you purchase them through our online store.

Note: If you are subscribed to auto renewal, you will be charged up to 15 days before the expiry date.

How Do I Set Up Auto Renewal?

  1. After installing and activating your Trend Micro apps, log in to your Trend Micro Account in https://account.trendmicro.com/ with your email address and password.
  2. Click the Licenses tab, then click the Set up Auto Renew button next to your existing subscription.

How Will My Subscription Be Automatically Renewed?

Your subscription will renew automatically without any action required from you. Before it expires, you'll get an email detailing the amount and date of the charge. If you want to cancel, you can do so by clicking the links in the email. The charge will be made on the same credit card you used for the original purchase. After successful renewal, you'll receive a confirmation email. Your Trend Micro software will be automatically renewed, and you won't need a new activation code. Your license will be extended seamlessly, ensuring continuous protection without any additional steps from you.

How Do I Cancel Auto Renewal?

What Happens To My Subscription If I Cancel My Auto-Renewal Plan?

You'll still get the service for the time you've already paid for. For monthly subscriptions, cancelling means it won't renew next month, but you'll keep the service until then. For annual subscriptions, cancelling means it won't renew next year, but you'll keep the service for the rest of the current year.
