What Will I Be Charged at Renewal?

This is the most common question — and we want to be upfront about it.

Your renewal price may be different from the promotional price you originally paid.

  • Introductory prices apply to new purchases only. The standard annual renewal price is set at the time of your subscription and may be higher than your first-year price

The good news: You can check your exact renewal price before it happens — at any time — from your Trend Micro Account.


How to Check If Auto Renew Is Currently On

Not sure whether your subscription is set to auto-renew? Here's a quick way to check:

  1. Sign in to account.trendmicro.com.
  2. Click the Licenses tab and find your subscription.
  3. Look at the button next to it:
    • "Manage Subscription" → Auto Renew is ON
    • "Renew Now" → Auto Renew is OFF

✅ That's your current Auto Renew status — no guesswork needed.

🔔 If you don't see either button, or the button doesn't respond:

  • Auto Renew may already be in the process of renewing (syncing after a recent charge)
  • You may be signed in to a different Trend Micro account than expected
  • Contact Trend Micro Support if you're unsure — they can confirm your status in minutes
