If you buy or renew Trend Micro Antivirus+ Security or Trend Micro Internet Security, your activation code may look different.

  • Old activation codes started with A (Antivirus+ Security) or P (Internet Security).
  • New activation codes start with X.

👉 If your activation code starts with X, you need to install Trend Micro Maximum Security.

Why This Change?

  • Before: Each product had its own installer and activation code.
  • Now: All activation codes use the Trend Micro Maximum Security installer.
  • Benefit: Easier setup, one installer for all, always up-to-date protection.

What You Need to Do

  1. Check your activation code
    • If it starts with X, install Trend Micro Maximum Security.
  2. New subscription
    • Download and install Trend Micro Maximum Security.
  3. Renewed subscription
    • Uninstall your old Trend Micro program.
    • Install Trend Micro Maximum Security with your new activation code.

Install Trend Micro Maximum Security

Follow these simple steps to download and install the software:

  1. Go to the Trend Micro MyAccount portal.
  2. Sign in using your assigned email address and password.
  3. Go to the Download tab.
  4. Click Download under Protect your devices.
  5. Run the downloaded installer by double-clicking it.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
