Know how to activate your Mobile Security for Android using an existing Trend Micro Account.

You can only create a Trend Micro account when you register a Trend Micro program. There is no way to create an account without activating an app. If you are trying to activate the Trend Micro Mobile Security without an existing Trend Micro Account, select the option to Create an Account instead of Sign-in.


Activate Mobile Security from a Trial Version using the App

  1. Tap Mobile Security on your mobile device.
  2. Tap Buy/Activate.
    • Tap Buy Now if you have not purchased the application.
    • Tap Use an Activation Code, then type the serial number which consists of 4 letters and 16 numbers if you already bought the program.

Activate Mobile Security from a Trial Version using the Lost Device Protection Portal

  1. Access the Lost Device Protection Portal.
  2. Tap Find Now.
  3. Sign in with your Trend Micro account.
  4. Tap the mobile phone icon to display the list of devices under your account.
  5. From the list, tap on Device Detail.
  6. Tap Enter Activation Code.
  7. Enter your new license, then tap OK.

Extend an expired Mobile Security subscription using the App

  1. Tap Mobile Security on your mobile device.
  2. Tap Buy/Activate.
    • Tap Buy Now if you have not purchased the application.
    • Tap Use an Activation Code, then type the serial number which consists of 4 letters and 16 numbers if you already bought the program.

Extend an expired Mobile Security subscription using the Lost Device Protection Portal

  1. Access the Lost Device Protection Portal.
  2. Tap Find Now.
  3. Sign in with your Trend Micro account.
  4. Tap the mobile phone icon to display the list of devices under your account.
  5. From the list, tap on Device Detail.
