Trend Micro Security scans your home network to look for the security protection status of devices connected to it. It will look for Windows OS, Windows 10 in S mode, and macOS computers, or Android and iOS devices that can be protected as a bundle with Trend Micro Security.
For your protection, Trend Micro Security scans your private or home network with up to 30 devices connected to it.

Protected
The device has the latest Trend Micro Security program installed.

The device scanned does not have the latest protection installed or the current protection is not the latest version. Upgrade the program to get the latest protection.

License Expired
The subscription used on the scanned device has already expired. Renew the subscription to stay protected.

Protection Status Unknown
The scan is unable to detect the status of the Trend Micro Security program installed to it due to technical limitation.
To verify the device’s status, access it directly, and install a Trend Micro program as needed.

Trend Micro software installed
The device has a Trend Micro program installed but the scan is unable to check if it’s using the latest version. It’s possible that the device is activated using a different account.
To verify the device’s status, access it directly and check if it’s running the latest version of Trend Micro Security program.
