How to Update Saved Passwords in Trend Micro ID Protection

Keeping your passwords up to date protects your accounts from hackers and keeps your personal information safe. Regular password updates make it harder for cybercriminals to guess or steal your login details.

If you recently changed a password for one of your accounts, remember to also update it in your Trend Micro ID Protection app or browser extension so the saved version stays current.

Update Saved Passwords Using Your Web Browser

1. Go to idprotect.trendmicro.com.
2. Click the Vault tab in the left pane.
3. Enter your Trend Micro Account password to unlock your Password Vault.
4. Select the password you want to update. A pop-up will appear with your saved account details.
5. Click the Edit button at the upper right of the pop-up, just below the close button.
6. Make your changes, then click Save when you’re done.

Update Saved Passwords Using Your Mobile App

1. Open your ID Protection app.
2. Enter your Trend Micro Account password to unlock your Password Vault.
3. Tap the ≔ list icon next to the password you want to update.
4. Tap the Edit button at the upper right of the screen.
5. Update your password details, then tap Save.
