How to install and activate Antivirus for Mac

Learn how to setup Antivirus for Mac included in your Trend Micro Security Suite subscription. Watch this installation tutorial or follow the step-by-step instructions in this article:

1. Go to https://account.trendmicro.com/.
2. Type the email address and password you created, then click Sign In.
3. Look for Maximum Security from the list.
4. Click Add Device.

   

5. Select Mac.

   

6. Select how you want to download Antivirus for Mac:

   

7. Open the downloaded installer file, then click Install Trend Micro Antivirus.

   

8. Click Continue.

   

9. Wait for the System Check to finish.

   

10. Click Continue on the Welcome screen.

    

11. Read the Privacy and Policy Data Collection Disclosure, then click Continue.

    

12. Read the License Agreement, then click Continue.

    

13. Click Agree when prompted to accept the License Agreement.

    

14. Type your serial number on the field provided, then click Continue.

    

15. Click Install.

    

16. Type your administrator password, then click Install Software.

    

17. Wait while the Trend Micro components are installed onto your Mac.

    

18. Click Close after the installation is done.
