Why Rename Devices on Your Trend Micro Account?

Renaming your devices helps you easily identify and manage them. This is useful for tracking installation dates, recognizing unfamiliar devices, or removing old ones.

Steps to Rename Your Devices

  1. Go to the Trend Micro Account page at https://account.trendmicro.com/ and Sign In.
  2. After logging in, go to the Licenses section and click Manage Device next to your active license.
  3. In the Protected Devices list, hover over the device you want to rename. A pencil icon will appear.
  4. Click the pencil icon or the device name to edit it.
  5. Type the new name for your device and press ENTER to save the changes.

Note: Changing the device name in your account doesn't change the name on the device itself. It only helps you organize and manage your devices better in the account.
