Switching devices? Here’s how you can easily transfer your Trend Micro protection to a new computer, mobile phone, or tablet using your Trend Micro account.
If Your Subscription Covers More Than One Device
- On your new device, open a web browser and visit your Trend Micro Account.
- Type your email address and password, then click Sign In.
- If you use Two-Factor Authentication, enter the verification code sent to your Authenticator App, email, or text.
- Once logged in, click the License tab to view your current subscription.
- Click Manage Device and find the device you wish to remove.
- Click the X icon on the top right corner of the device's entry. Note: Double-check the device name to ensure you do not remove a device in use.
- After removing the old device, click the Add Device button.
- Click the Download button and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
If Your Subscription Only Covers One Device

Switching from Best Buy to Trend Micro Direct Subscription
If you wish to transfer your Trend Micro protection from a Best Buy or other retail purchase to a direct subscription, you must cancel your current subscription and purchase a new one from the Trend Micro Official Online Store.
