A Trend Micro component causing a high CPU and memory usage is already corrupted.
How do I fix this?
Simply reinstall the Trend Micro program by following the steps below:
- Get a copy of your serial number.
- Check if your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
- Uninstall your current Trend Micro program.
- To install the Trend Micro program, go to https://account.trendmicro.com/download.
- Enter your email address and password to sign in.
You will see the Downloads section of your Trend Micro Account page.
Cannot log in? Click here for solutions. - Click the Download button under your Trend Micro Security subscription.
- Click the Download button under Download to This Device. A new tab will open to download the installer.
- Double-click the downloaded file to run the installer.
If the User Account Control window appears, click Yes.
- Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
- Fill out the account information to activate your protection.
