Do a Clean Install on Mac

  1. Get a copy of your activation code.
  2. Uninstall your current Trend Micro program.
  3. Open a web browser. You can use Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox.
  4. Go to Trend Micro Account portal.
  5. Type your email address and password, then click the Sign In button.
  6. Click the Download tab you see at the upper left, then click the Download button depending on your subscription.
  7. Click the Download button under Download to This Device. A new tab will open to download the installer.
  8. Open the downloaded .dmg file, and then click Install Trend Micro Antivirus.
    A pop up will appear. Click Open, then Allow to proceed with installation.
  9. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
  10. After installation completes, click Close, then follow the on-screen instructions for the Helper Tool.
