Know how to set up your Home Network Security Station, install the app, and establish connection between the app and the Station.

  1. Set up the Station:
    You must ONLY connect the Station to the WiFi router that the majority of your mobile devices connects with.
    The Station should not be connected to network equipments such as switches, hubs, extenders, or repeaters.
    1. Connect the power adapter to the power port of your Station, then plug it to a power outlet.

    2. Plug one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port of your Station, then plug the other end to one of the LAN ports of your router.

      Your Station will now be connected to your router

  2. Install the app:
    To run Trend Micro Home Network Security successfully on your devices, your device must meet the minimum system requirements.
  3. Open the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store on your mobile device.
  4. Search Trend Micro Home Network Security.

  5. Tap Get or Install.
  6. Wait for the installation to finish.
  1. Click the button below depending if you are using and Android or an iOS device:

    It will open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

  2. Tap Get or Install.
  3. Wait for the installation to finish.
  • Pair the app with the Station:
    Before pairing, make sure that the Home Network Security app is installed and the Station is set up.
    1. Connect your mobile device to the same WiFi network as your Station.
    2. Open the Home Network Security app on your device.
    3. Read the License Agreement, then tap Agree and Continue.
    4. Make sure that the Home Network Security Station light is green, then tap Next.

    5. Type your pairing code, then tap Next.
      If you have a Trend Micro Device Security subscription, type your serial number instead.

      If the app is unable to connect to the Station within one minute, use the QR code reader that will appear on your screen. Scan the Station Code found at the bottom part of the Station.

    6. Wait for the Sign In page to appear, then sign in to your Trend Micro Account.
