Family Circle in Trend Micro ScamCheck lets you watch out for each other in real-time. By creating a trusted circle of family or friends, you can share scam protection, get instant alerts, and stop fraud before it happens.

How Family Circle Works
- Create Your Circle: Start your Family Circle in the ScamCheck app and invite trusted members.
- Invite Members Fast: They can join via a one-time link or invitation code.
- Share Risk Summaries: Members agree to share scam risk info so everyone stays protected.
- Get Real-Time Alerts: Notifications are sent if risky behavior is detected, such as:
- Calling a known scam number
- Phone scam calls lasting over 3 minutes
- Replying to scam text messages
- Clicking suspicious links or adding unknown contacts
- Monitor & Act: View alerts in the app and take steps to protect your Circle members.
How to Set Up Family Circle
- Open the Trend Micro ScamCheck app on your device.
- Go to Family Circle / Caring Circle in the menu.
- Tap Create Circle to start your group.
- Generate an invitation link or code to share with family/friends.
- Members join by clicking the link or entering the code — no extra account needed.
- Once joined, alerts will trigger whenever risky interactions are detected.
💡 Tip: Only invite people you trust — scam risk alerts and protection are shared within your Circle.
