SafeSurfing is a built-in secure browser that blocks unsafe websites based on what level of protection you choose.

Check if a website is unsafe

  1. Copy the link you suspect is unsafe.
  2. Tap the Mobile Security app.
  3. Tap SafeSurfing.
  4. Paste the link on the address bar, then tap Go.
    If the website is dangerous to visit, it blocks the website and prevents you to access it.
    Otherwise, if it safe to access, it will let you browse the website.

Adjust Protection Level

  1. Tap the Mobile Security app.
  2. Scroll down, then tap Settings.
  3. Under WEB THREAT PROTECTION, tap Filtering Level.
  4. Select your preferred level:
    • High - blocks websites that show any sign of fraud or hosting malicious software.
    • Normal - provides appropriate protection for everyday use without aggressively blocking minor risks. Trend Micro recommends this setting.
    • Low - blocks only websites that are confirmed as fraudulent or dangerous.

Open a new website without closing the previous one

  1. Tap the Mobile Security app.
  2. Tap SafeSurfing.
  3. Tap the Page Switcher icon, then tap +. This will open a new page.
  4. Type the website address you want to visit, then tap Go.

Close websites

  1. On the SafeSurfing browser, tap Page Switcher icon.
  2. Tap X located at the top right corner of the page you want to close.

Clear browsing history

  1. Tap the Mobile Security app.
  2. Tap SafeSurfing, then tap Clear.

  3. Select Clear History, then tap Yes.

Bookmark a favorite website

  1. Tap the Mobile Security app.
  2. Tap SafeSurfing.
  3. Type or paste the website address you copied on the address bar, then tap Go.
  4. Tap the Share icon.

    Share link

  5. Tap Add Bookmark, then tap Save.

Delete a saved Bookmark

  1. Tap the Mobile Security app.
  2. Tap SafeSurfing.
  3. Tap the icon to open the Bookmarks page.
  4. Tap Edit, then tap the icon beside the webpage.
    TIP: You can also swipe from right to left over the website you want to delete.
  5. Tap Delete.
