Parental Controls protects your kids from the dangers of the Internet through the comfort of their iOS/iPadOS devices.

How does it work?

It uses the Web Guard feauture to block inappropriate websites, depending on their age.

Web Guard can also help your senior family members limit their exposure to online threats. Just change the Web Guard setting to Custom and educate them about good online practices that will help keep them safe.

See Block explicit content for instructions.

Turn ON Web Guard

  1. Tap the Mobile Security app.
  2. Tap Web Guard, then tap the Turn ON Web Guard button.
  3. Tap Web Guard needs permission before you can use this feature, then select Allow.
  4. Provide your Touch ID or Face ID to switch it ON.

Block explicit content

  2. Tap Web Guard, then tap VPN Settings.
  3. Tap Trend Micro Parental Controls.
  4. Select your kid's age:

Trend Micro has predefined restrictions for each age group:

    • ☑ - Blocked
    • ⿱ - Some contents are blocked but not all
    • ☐ - Allowed
  5. Set up a 4-digit key, or what we call a Parent Key.
This key is needed if they try to visit explicit websites.
