Two features in Mobile Security can help you block malicious and unwanted websites on your iOS/iPadOS device so you can browse safely online:

I. Turn ON Web Guard to block unsafe websites

Web Guard lets you filter content when you are using your preferred browser. It uses a local Virtual Private Network, or VPN on your iOS/iPadOS device with almost no impact to the network speed.

  1. Tap the Mobile Security app.
  2. Tap Web Guard, then tap the Turn ON Web Guard button.
  3. Tap Web Guard needs permission before you can use this feature, then select Allow.
  4. Provide your Touch ID or Face ID to switch it ON.
  5. Tap Web Guard again on the app Main Menu, then tap Trend Micro Web Safe.

II. Enable Ad & Tracker Block in Safari to block unwanted websites

Ad & Tracker Block stops websites from collecting information about you and blocks ads when using your browser.

  1. Tap Settings on your home screen.
  2. Scroll down, then tap Safari.
  3. Under GENERAL, tap Extensions.
  4. Switch ON Mobile Security.

Mobile Security can also block application trackers, ensuring that your information is secured.

  1. Open the Mobile Security app.
  2. Tap Web Guard, then tap Block Trackers.
