Know what to do when you cannot sign in to the Trend Micro Account online portal.

Why did this happen?

  • Your email address or password is incorrect.
  • You bought the program through Best Buy or an Internet Service Provider.
  • Your program is not yet installed or activated.

How do I fix this?

  • Retype your email address and your password.
  • Make sure there are no extra spaces or duplicate characters.

I forgot my email address

  1. Go to https://account.trendmicro.com/.
  2. Click Forgot which address you used before?.
  3. Type the serial number you used to register your program, and then click Check Now.
    A window will appear on your screen displaying your email address.

I forgot my password

  1. Go to https://account.trendmicro.com/.
  2. Click Forgot Your Password?.
  3. Type the email address you used, and then click Check Now.

    You will be prompted to check your email to reset your account password.

  4. Open the email from Trend Micro.
  5. Click change your password now.

  6. Type your new password in the New password field and retype it in the Confirm new password field.
  7. Click Update Password.
  8. Click Sign In.

If the email address you used to register your Trend Micro account is already inactive and cannot be accessed, contact our Technical Support to update your information.
